WFMW: New Favorite Hair Accessory

Do you ever have one of those days when you can't stand to have your hair around your face? Yeah? Me too.

I have a stacked, a-line bob-type hair cut and its not very long...not really long enough for a ponytail. I showed you what it looks like here.

I found a product at Walmart (not my favorite store...at all) and I love it. It is called the Goody Stay Put headwrap. It looks like this...

I. Seriously. Heart. my new headbands. They grip and stay put just like their name says. Also, they don't give me a headache like other hard plastic headbands. Those little dotted lines you see are rubbery grippy thingys. Yes. That is the technical name.

Thought you'd wanna know what works for me.

To see what is working for other bloggers, check here.

16 love notes to me!:

I can't wait to try these out!

I'll have to find them somewhere else besides Walmart, though. Hopefully one of the nearby drugstores has them.

I love these head-bands! Goody also makes skinny ones like these...they are about 1/2 inch wide and they look like they have a ribbon of hot-glue the whole way around the inside, but it is really just rubbery, "sticky" stuff to hold the band in place!

These ARE great. I use them for my daughter, who has sooo much hair I'm jealous. And they hold her hair back perfectly !

I have got to try these. I have super-thick hair, and what seems to be, a flat-back-of-the-head, which allows every single headband I have ever tried to come flying off, potentially whamming someone behind me in the eye like a rubberband. I have to put my hair in a low pony tail to keep the headband somewhat in place at the back of my head.

Woo. Guess that was a sore-spot for me, huh? Great tip! thanks!

I need them! LIke now. I have the same type haircut and can do nothing with it when I garden other than wear a hat. I look stupid in hats. So thank you for posting this. I will make the sacrifice to hit walmart for something tried and true. It won't be pretty, but I 'll do it so I don't have to keep pushing my hair out of my eyes with dirt on my fingers everytime I am gardening;)

My daughter has some of these. They really do work, and not much stays in my daughter's hair.

Hers are not as wide though, and I like these wide ones. I think I will look for them next time I'm at the store.

I just realized the other day after watching an old episode of grey's anatomy that they have lexie grey wear those a lot.

I'll have to see if we can find some like these in my daughter's size. Her hair is always in her face while she's trying to eat, which leads to food in her hair--yuck! I think something like this would work better than the clips we've been using.
