Wednesday is Water Day. We will be getting wet somewhere on Wednesdays. We don't have direct access to a pool, but there are several places we can rotate for swimming. This is what it should look like:
Thursday is Movie Day where we go to the free movies at the Regal movie theater. This is what Thursday should look like:
Sometimes Friday will be an at home day and sometimes it will be a letterboxing day. I haven't done a schedule for Friday yet...not quite sure about what I want it to look like.
This schedule thing is brand new to me, so I'm hoping that it will work for me and my kiddos, but I can't promise that I'll be sticking to it everyday. It will give us a bit of a guideline, though. I'll let you know how it is going periodically.

6 love notes to me!:
I love your idea of giving each day a purpose.
How about Friday as Field Trip Day (visit a zoo, visit a new park, go to the library and so on). just an idea.
I think I need to do this...except every day from 1 to 5 my son has gymnastic team practice. So,that pretty much takes up our afternoons.

I love the idea of this but I have a question for you. When during the day do you make time for stuff for you (blogging, to-do list, etc.)?
Now that the kids are home for the summer, I feel like I am relying on the TV more and more often, which I don't like but can't seem to make myself break out of...
When the kids are playing with friends outside, or watching a movie, I blog and do stuff I want to or need to do. My kids are fairly independent at ages 8 and 4, though. If yours are younger, that might be tougher.
I need a summer schedule! Right now, every day is pool day! Which is really fun, but I want to do lots of other summer activities too. Thanks for the inspiration.
Your schedule looks great by the way...I need to do one of those.
Found you via Works for Me Wednesday... love the schedule. I was wondering for those of us (okay me...) who are not very great on the computer would you email me the power point schedule.
