I found this fun post at Tammy's Recipes and decided to participate this week. I LOVE to read tips that will make my life easier. Here's something I do that my husband loves.
It is actually something that his mom did growing up, so I can't take the credit! Hi Ruth Ann! :) Whenever I use canned pineapple (for fruit salad or smoothies, for example) I pour the juice from the can into a ziploc baggie and pop it in the freezer. It makes for a yummy treat later and saves something that would have just been poured down the sink.

3 love notes to me!:
I just like to drink the stuff--I'd never pour yummy juice in the sink! But boy, oh, boy, I'm gonna get my popsicle molds out of the attic (I store my summer stuff up there) and make myself a pineapple ice pop next time I open a can. Great idea!
I pour the juice in little plastic cups (the throw away kind), put a popsicle stick in it and put it in the freezer. My son loves these esp if I leave a bit of fruit in one.
If you want a really yummy slush, put pineapple and orange juice concentrate, 2 c. of water, 3 crushed bananas and some lemon juice (to prevent browning of bananas) in a 9x13 pan - freeze. Then when you want chunk it out into a cup with sprite (or other clear soda). We love doing this for Bear Lake trips for the late night treat and games:)
