So my kids are on Spring Break this week and we've been having a blast. I'm going to be posting a little about each day, but they will be out of order...oh well! Here's Wednesday.
We had breakfast a Chick-fil-A and then went to see Horton Hears a Who with my mom and nephew, Trevor. It was really cute. Not hilarious funny like I thought, though.
Then the kiddos and I went to the playground at their elementary school. There is a map there on the blacktop and Taylor wanted me to show her Utah. So we did.
Then we played on the cool stuff there.
Mike called and wanted to look at puppies. So we did that. I'm not ready to get another dog right now. They really are a lot of work, especially when they are puppies. After that it was dinner time, so we went to a fun place we enjoy. I had a coupon from the entertainment book, of course!
The not so cool part of our day was that we had to say our goodbyes to our friends, the Mayers. Our families have gotten really close, but they are moving to Texas.....hopefully temporarily. They feel like this is home and want to be back within a few years. Here are all the kids together.
2 love notes to me!:
I can't believe your kids are wearing shorts and t-shirts. It's only been in the 40's here the last few days. We have spring break next week, and I'm hoping that the weather will be much warmer than it has been. I'm jealous of all your sunshine. Have a great spring break and enjoy all your sunshine.
I've been enjoying your blog for weeks now but haven't been able to leave comments. Hooray for Kari who helped me work out the kinks. That picture of the kids in the school yard is the closest they've been to Utah in years! I can hardly wait to get you all out this way again soon. I love your blog--you, Mike and the kids too. Pass around our hugs and kisses!
